Investment Approach
My investment philosophy is based on the principles of value investing. Following an investment style consistent with that of Odlum Brown’s Research Department, I focus on good companies with solid balance sheets trading below their fundamental valuations. I build portfolios around the individual needs of my clients using a variety of investment tools. A growing part of my investment strategy for clients is the use of options. By incorporating various options strategies in a client portfolio, I aim to increase investment income, reduce portfolio volatility and hedge against large moves in the market.
Commitment to Clients
I strive to build long-term relationships, based on trust, with each of my clients. My goal is to work closely with each client to create an investment portfolio that fits with their specific financial goals. The world today is filled with complex investment choices, making it even more important for investors to have an investment professional working with them. As a Portfolio Manager, my clients can feel secure knowing that I am actively managing their portfolios and providing investment advice tailored to their individual financial needs.
Many clients have come to me after selling their home wanting to protect and grow the wealth that their home built for them. Typically, these clients are looking to invest the proceeds as a means to generate income. In this low interest rate environment, it is important to have an advisor who focuses on income generation strategies, without taking on excessive risk. The tools we use to build portfolios are based on the individual investor and a wide range of investment options.
If your portfolio consists of equities, it may be beneficial to implement some options strategies around your existing equity positions. If you would like to have a complimentary review of your existing portfolio to see what opportunities might be present, request one by email through this link:
