Monica joined the Corner Group as the team’s exclusive Financial and Tax Planning Specialist. Monica holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) designations and has completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program.

As a member of the Corner Group, Monica brings her experience from one of Canada’s largest accounting firms to provide personal, corporate, trust and estate tax planning options exclusively to our clients. Her objective is to provide clients with up-to-date information about the tax implications of various investments decisions.

Consistent with the Corner Group’s commitment to a long-term client strategy, Monica works together with Odlum Brown Financial Services Limited (OBFSL)* to provide financial, retirement and estate planning information to assist with decisions regarding our client’s financial affairs, as a complement to the strategies developed by our Investment Advisors and Portfolio Managers.

A financial plan can help answer important questions such as “where are we now?” or “will my assets be enough to support me in retirement?” Monica and the OBFSL team will allow our clients to explore how their assets and income develop over time, while identifying risks and opportunities for minimizing and deferring tax.
