Mike is Vice President of Odlum Brown Financial Services Limited (OBFSL) and a member of the firm’s Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
Mike enjoys sharing his passion for financial literacy with clients and team members. Working with Investment Advisors and Portfolio Managers, he provides practical, tailored, and holistic financial planning advice to support the complete financial wellness of clients.
In addition to giving presentations to clients and team members, Mike has presented for the British Columbia chapters of the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA BC) and Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP BC), as well as the Vancouver society of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA Society Vancouver). Previously, Mike served on Vancouver Foundation’s Development Committee.
Mike is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified General Accountant (CGA), and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP® ) professional and has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from UBC. Prior to joining the firm in 2008 as a financial and tax planner, he worked as an accountant at KPMG.
Outside of his professional life, Mike and his wife are raising two energetic boys and enjoy spending time in the beautiful outdoors.
